Bio:

Jodie began her flute studies in the Netherlands at the age of 11.   Since then she has studied primarily with three professors: Regina Helcher-Yost at Charleston Southern Universiy, Katherine Borst Jones at The Ohio State University, and Dr. Kristen Stoner at the University of Florida.  At UF she was the graduate assistant while working on her Master of Music degree.  Ms. Sluys had the privilege of taking master classes with numerous flutists including: Jeanne Baxtresser, Marianne Gedigian, Jim Walker, Jean Ferrandis, Renee Siebert, Keith Underwood, Peter Lloyd, Robert Aitken, Alexa Still, Thomas Robertello, Ian Clarke, Jill Felber, Nan Raphael, Carl Hall, Francesca Arnone, and Gigi Mitchell-Velasco.
